Busy Bees are better because…

We go beyond Government standards to provide your child with a range of diverse experiences and activities to support them on their learning journey.

Here at Busy Bees, we understand you want the very best for your child, and so do we.

Did you know that Busy Bees follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework* in England? The EYFS framework includes seven areas of learning that are pivotal to your child’s learning and development.

But we don’t just stop there because we know just how precious their childhood is. After all, they only get one.

From our health and wellbeing to our learning through play activities, our passionate and experienced team goes beyond Government’s standards. We want to ensure your child’s learning journey is full of wonderful experiences that they can carry with them throughout their early years.

Don’t just take our word for it. Come and experience the Busy Bees difference with us.

Founded by Parents, for Parents

Busy Bees began in 1983 when co-founder Marg Randles and her family couldn’t find the early learning environment they dreamed of — so they created it themselves, focused on care, creativity, and child-led development.

A Nurturing Home Away from Home

Every Busy Bees centre is built on the belief that children thrive in safe, stimulating environments where their individuality is celebrated and their emotional and developmental needs are met, just like the very first centre over 40 years ago.

“We wanted to give our children the best start in life, which to us meant better, more exciting care, stimulating environments, and lots of opportunities for play, interaction and development, at their own pace and in their own space.

We couldn’t find a nursery that offered everything we wanted.

So, we decided to find it ourselves in 1983.”
