With the themeΒ βRoaring into Summer with Dinosaurs!β,Β DINOSAUR SUMMER 2025Β was a purposefully designed 8-week learning journey for children aged 12 months to 6 years. This experience combined an international academic curriculum with emotionally engaging explorations, supporting children to develop observation, reasoning, communication, and emotional expression naturally and holistically throughout the summer.

The children embarked on an exciting journey into the mysterious world of dinosaurs at the Dinosaur Zone, where prehistoric creatures were vividly and captivatingly brought to life

Each dinosaur model served as a meaningful puzzle piece, helping children naturally connect classroom knowledge with the world around them
Children at Busy Bees discovered the prehistoric world of dinosaurs through immersive and age-appropriate experiences. From learning about dinosaur features and habitats to hands-on activities like fossil egg creation, footprint tracing, and storytelling through art, every moment nurtured curiosity, observation, and personal expression in meaningful ways.
A highlight of the program was theΒ JPARK field trip, where children stepped into a life-like dinosaur environment. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on exploration of the dinosaur life cycle from egg to full-grown creature our young explorers made real-world connections that extended their classroom learning.

From the moment they encountered dinosaur eggs, children began to visualize and link concepts related to life cycles and the evolution of the creatures that once ruled the Earth

Throughout the activities, children were encouraged to ask questions and share their reflections with teachers and peers, enhancing their observation, expression, and information-linking skills

Immersed in a prehistoric setting, every young learner became an enthusiastic little explorer fueled by curiosity and a passion for discovery

Children actively interacted with teachers to learn about the traits of different dinosaurs, fostering a mindset of inquiry and a love for learning

By examining life-like models and engaging in hands-on creation, children gained a vivid and lasting understanding of dinosaur anatomy through experiential learning

With the guidance and companionship of their teachers, each activity became an opportunity for children to confidently explore and shape their thinking in their own unique way

Every activity was thoughtfully tailored to specific age groups, enabling children to explore the world of dinosaurs in a safe, inspiring, and highly interactive learning environment

Through βPlay and Learnβ experiences, children acquired knowledge naturally while having fun, making the learning process enjoyable, effective, and full of inspiration
To conclude this vibrant summer, children and parents came together for theΒ Learning CarnivalΒ a special end-of-summer exhibition. Classrooms were transformed into a miniature dinosaur museum, showcasing childrenβs creative works: fossil eggs, dinosaur skeletons made from clay, colorful paintings, and more all created by the children themselves.

Each creative piece reflected a journey of observation, imagination, and discovery showcasing clear development in perception, thinking, and individual expression

Parents joined their children in reflecting on the summer adventure through every displayed creation each piece capturing effort, emotion, and growth from meaningful learning experiences

Summer learning and review activities were enriched by the presence and affirmation of parents, creating a more complete and fulfilling experience
Parents joined their children in this heartwarming exhibition, witnessing the progress and passion behind each piece. More than a display, it was a moment where learning met emotion when stories of growth and discovery were retold through art, conversation, and shared smiles. This final event created lasting memories, reinforcing the bridge between home and school as a shared space of learning and love.

As parents stood beside their children during the end-of-summer event, the seasonβs journey concluded in a warm atmosphere of connection, pride, and heartfelt celebration
DINOSAUR SUMMER 2025Β was seamlessly integrated with theΒ UK National Curriculum β Early Years Foundation Stage (Key Stage), ensuring both academic and emotional development across core areas:
-
Early Literacy in English: With 100% English immersion, children expanded their language thinking through storytelling, interactive questioning, and idea-sharing.
-
International Maths: Concepts such as shapes, patterns, measurement, and quantity were explored through hands-on games, sorting activities, and practical modeling.
-
Critical Thinking: Topics like fossils, extinction, and habitats provided rich contexts for children to practice age-appropriate reasoning, problem-solving, and reflection.
This summer learning experience did not emphasize rote memorization but rather empowered each child to explore in ways that matched their individual pace and strengths. Children were guided not directed by teachers who served as facilitators and emotional anchors, observing attentively and encouraging discovery through open-ended questions.
As they journeyed through Dinosaur Summer, each child at Busy Bees not only advanced academically but also deepened their capacity to collaborate, empathize, and thrive in a supportive, inspiring environment.
